You can find detailed information on the subject of data protection in our privacy policy, which is set out below.

Data collection on our website

Who is responsible for the recording of data on this website?

The data processing on this website is conducted by the website operator. You can find its contact details in the section of this privacy policy entitled “Information on the controller”.

How do we record your data?

On the one hand, your data is collected as a result of you providing it to us. This may be data that you enter into a contact form.

Other data is recorded by our IT systems when you visit the website, automatically or when you grant your consent. That data is primarily technical data (for example Internet browser, operating system or the time the site is accessed). It is recorded automatically as soon as you enter our website.

What do we use your data for?

Some of the data is collected in order to ensure that we can make the website available without any errors. Other data may be used to analyse your user behaviour.

What rights do you have with regard to your data?

You have the right to request information from us on the origin, recipients and purpose of the data stored concerning yourself at any time, free of charge. You also have the right to demand the rectification or erasure of that data. If you have granted us consent to data processing you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right, under certain circumstances, to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

For this purpose and for any other questions you may have on the subject of data protection, you can contact us at any time.

2. Hosting

External hosting

This website is hosted by an external service provider (hoster). Personal data which is recorded on this website is stored on the hoster’s servers. That data may include, in particular, IP addresses, contact enquiries, metadata and communications data, contract data, contact details, names, website access and other data generated through a website.

The hoster is used for the purposes of the performance of contracts with respect to our potential and existing customers (Article 6(1) point b) GDPR) and in the interests of secure, fast and efficient provision of our online service by a professional provider (Article 6(1) point f) GDPR).

Our hoster only processes your data insofar as it is necessary for the fulfilment of its service obligations, and it follows our instructions with regard to that data.

We use the following hoster:

ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich
Inhaber: René Münnich
Hauptstraße 68
D-02742 Friedersdorf

Contract data processing

We have concluded a contract processing agreement (CPA) with the above-mentioned provider, i.e. a contract as prescribed by data protection laws that guarantees that it only processes personal data of our website visitors in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

3. General and mandatory information

Data protection

The operators of this website attach great importance to the protection of your data. We handle your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

If you use this website, various personal data is collected. Personal data is data that allows you to be personally identified. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also clarifies how and for what purpose this occurs.

We advise you that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. during communication by email) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. Flawless protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.

Information on the controller:

The controller for the data processing on this website is:

SL Packaging GmbH
Bünder Str. 105
32051 Herford
Managing Director Thorsten Vogt
Telefon: 05221 99 444 0
E-Mail: info@slpackaging.de

The controller is the natural or legal person who/which, either alone or together with others, decides on the purposes and means of the processing of personal data (e.g. names, email addresses and the like).

Storage period

Unless a more specific storage period is specified in this privacy policy, we retain your personal data until the purpose of the data processing no longer pertains. If you submit a legitimate erasure request or revoke your consent to the data processing, your data will be erased, unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. statutory retention periods under tax or commercial laws). In the latter case the erasure occurs once those reasons no longer pertain.

Information on the transmission of data to the USA or other third countries

We use, among other things, tools provided by companies based in the USA or other third countries not deemed secure under data protection laws. If those tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to those third countries and processed there. Please note that a level of data protection comparable with that in the EU cannot be guaranteed in those countries. For example, US companies are obliged to surrender personal data to security authorities and you as the data subject are unable to take steps against this through the courts. It therefore cannot be ruled out that US authorities (e.g. intelligence services) may process, evaluate and permanently store your data located on US servers for surveillance purposes. We have no influence on those processing activities.

Withdrawing your consent to the data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You can withdraw already granted consent at any time. The legality of the data processing that occurred prior to such withdrawal is not affected by it.

Right of objection to data collection in particular cases and to direct marketing (Article 21 GDPR)

IF THE DATA PROCESSING OCCURED ON THE BASIS OF ARTICLE 6(1) POINT E) OR F) GDPR YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA ON GROUNDS RELATING TO YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THOSE PROVISIONS. DETAILS OF THE LEGAL BASIS ON WHICH PROCESSING IS BASED ARE PROVIDED IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU SUBMIT AN OBJECTION, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS THE RELEVANT PERSONAL DATA UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING WHICH OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS OR IF THE PROCESSING SERVES THE PURPOSE OF THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE OR DEFENCE OF LEGAL CLAIMS (OBJECTION UNDER ARTICLE 21(1) GDPR).

IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED IN ORDER TO CONDUCT DIRECT MARKETING, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF THE PERSONAL DATA RELATING TO YOU FOR THE PURPOSES OF SUCH MARKETING. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING INSOFAR AS IT IS ASSOCIATED WITH SUCH DIRECT MARKETING. IF YOU OBJECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL THEN NO LONGER BE USED FOR THE PURPOSES OF DIRECT MARKETING (OBJECTION IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE 21(2) GDPR).

Right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority

In the event of breaches of the GDPR, data subjects have a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, particularly in the Member State where they have their habitual residence or place of work or being the location of the alleged breach. The right to lodge a complaint exists without prejudice to any other legal remedy under administrative law or judicial legal remedy.

Right to data portability

You are entitled to have data that we process by automated means on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract delivered either to yourself or to third parties in a commonly used, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically practicable.

SSL/TLS encryption

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption for reasons related to security and in order to protect the transfer of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries which you send to us as the website operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection in that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL/TLS encryption is activated, the data that you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Information, erasure and rectification

Under the applicable provisions of law you have the right to receive information on your stored data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing free of charge at any time and, where applicable, a right to rectification or erasure of that data. For that purpose and for any other questions you may have on the subject of personal data, you can contact us at any time.

Right to restriction of the processing

You have the right to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data. For that purpose you can contact us at any time. The right to restriction of the processing exists in the following cases:

  • If you dispute the correctness of the personal data stored by us, we generally need time to verify this. For the duration of the verification you have the right to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data
  • If the processing of your personal data is/was unlawful, instead of erasure you may demand restriction of the data processing;
  • If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it for the exercise, defence or assertion of legal claims, you have the right to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of erasure;
  • If you have submitted an objection in accordance with Article 21(1) GDPR, a weighing of your and our interests must be carried out. Until it is established whose interests are overriding, you have the right to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
  • If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, with the exception of storage thereof that data may only be processed with your consent or for the purpose of establishing, exercising or defending legal claims or in order to protect the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the EU or a Member State.

4. Datenerfassung auf dieser Website

Cookies

Our website uses so-called “cookies”, i.e. small text files which do not cause any damage to your end device. They are stored on your end device either temporarily or for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies). Session cookies are automatically erased after the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your end device until you erase them or they are automatically erased by your browser.

In some cases cookies may be stored on your end device by third-party companies if you visit our site (third-party cookies). These cookies enable you or us to use certain services of the third-party company (e.g. cookies for handling payment services).

Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary because certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping cart function or displaying videos). Other cookies serve the purpose of evaluating user behaviour or displaying advertisements.

Cookies which are required for the electronic communication process (necessary cookies) or for the provision of certain functions desired by you (functional cookies, for example for the shopping cart function) or for the optimisation of the website (e.g. cookies for measuring the Internet audience) are stored on the basis of Article 6(1) point f) GDPR, unless a different legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the purpose of optimised provision of its services without technical flaws. If consent to the storage of cookies has been requested, the relevant cookies are stored exclusively on the basis of that consent (Article 6(1) point a) GDPR). The consent may be revoked at any time.

You can adjust your browser settings so that you are informed of the installation of cookies and can decide whether to accept them on a case-by-case basis, block the acceptance of cookies either for particular cases or in general or activate automatic erasure of the cookies when you close the browser. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

If cookies are installed by third-party companies or for the purposes of analysis, we will separately inform you about this in this privacy policy and where applicable request your consent.

Server log files

The provider of this site automatically collects and stores information in so-called “server log files”, which your browser automatically transmits to us. This includes:

  • browser type and browser version
  • the operating system you use
  • the referrer URL
  • the host name of the accessing computer
  • time of the server request
  • IP address

This data will not be combined with other data sources.

The recording of the data occurs on the basis of Article 6(1) point f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in technically flawless presentation and optimisation of its website – for that purpose the server log files must be recorded.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries by contact form, your data from the enquiry form, including the contact details specified by you in it, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and for follow-up queries. We will not pass that data on without your consent.

The basis for the processing of that data is Article 6(1) point b) GDPR, insofar as your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the purpose of carrying out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the enquiries submitted to us (Article 6(1) point f) GDPR) or on your consent (Article 6(1) point a) GDPR), insofar as it has been requested.

The data entered by you in the contact form remains with us until you request its erasure or withdraw your consent to the storage or if the purpose of the storage of data no longer applies (e.g. after the processing of your enquiry has been completed). Mandatory provisions of law, particularly statutory retention periods, remain unaffected.

Enquiries submitted by email, telephone or fax

If you contact us by email, telephone or fax, your enquiry, including all personal data resulting from it (name, enquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purposes of processing your enquiry.

The data sent to us through contact enquiries remains with us until you request its erasure or withdraw your consent to the storage or the purpose of the storage of data no longer applies (e.g. after the processing of your enquiry is completed). Mandatory provisions of law, particularly statutory retention periods, remain unaffected.

5. Plug-ins and tools

Google Maps

This site uses the maps service Google Maps, provided by Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

For the use of the functions of Google Maps it is necessary to store your IP address. As a rule, that information is transferred to and stored on a Google server in the USA. The provider of this site has no influence on that data transmission. If Google Maps is activated, Google may use Google Web Fonts for the purposes of uniform presentation of the fonts. When you access Google Maps, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache so that texts and fonts can be correctly displayed.

Google Maps is used in the interests of ensuring an appealing presentation of our online services and making it easy to find the locations specified by us on the website. This constitutes a legitimate interest in the meaning of Article 6(1) point f) GDPR. If appropriate consent has been requested, the processing occurs exclusively on the basis of Article 6(1) point a) GDPR. The consent can be revoked at any time.

The data transmission to the USA is based on standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. You can find details here: https://privacy.google.com/businesses/gdprcontrollerterms/ und https://privacy.google.com/businesses/gdprcontrollerterms/sccs/.
